Marianne has a Bachelors's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Counseling. She is certified as a National Counselor, a Distance Counselor and has been teaching at the college level locally for three years. She is trained in EMDR and a member of the American Counseling Association.
She has an affinity for the present-day trend of teaching Mindfulness and practices regularly. She is a huge advocate of holistic care including yoga, diet, meditation, exercise, and spirituality. She volunteers for support groups and causes.
Marianne Crom is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing for over 10 years. Her expertise is in providing EMDR therapy, working with couples, and counseling for addictions. She is credentialed for Distance Counseling through the National Board of Certified Counselors. Much of her success is with helping adults who have experienced childhood sexual abuse or other forms of trauma, couples overcoming infidelity, and families/individuals coping with addiction by learning how to lead a happy life. Some of her diverse clients have worked out phobias, dealt with rape, murder and overcome domestic violence. Clients have maintained sobriety and gone to college. Many have worked with co-occurring behavioral problems and found relief. Families have begun to understand the nature of addiction and how to cope with it. She has taught parenting classes. She is skilled in providing Supervision Visitation for children and their parents. She enjoys facilitating workshops and doing presentations.
